Rama Institute of Engineering and Technology organizes “MANTHAN” an inter college technical, management and cultural fest every year. The fest runs for three to five days where different college and university students come to our campus to show their talent. This year the fest is inaugurated by our GBTU Vice Chancellor Prof. R. K. Khandal. The events this year were:
Technical and Management Events: Circuit Design, Robot Race, Robot Soccer, LAN Gaming, Web Page Designing, Financial Club, Marketing Club, HR Club, Model Presentation and many more.
Cultural Events: Group Dance, Solo Dance, Group Song , Solo Song, Face Painting, Logo Design, Fashion Show, Skit, Debate, RJ Hunt, JAM session, Comedy Show, Mimicry, Collage Competition, Dumb Charade, Ad Mad Show and many more.
Sports Events: Treasure Hunt, Chess, Tug of War, Table tennis, Arm wrestling, Carom and many more.
Last day activities include prize distribution ceremony & DJ night.

In recent years, revolution in biology has come about due to the potentials of biotechnology. Techniques have been developed to produce rare and medicinally valuable molecules, to change hereditary traits of plants and animals, to diagnose diseases and cure them either through biotechnologically derived proteins and polypeptides forming a new class of potential drugs, or through immune diagnostically designed vaccines and also to clean up the environmental protection.
India offers a huge market for the products as well as cheap manufacturing base for export. Keeping these points in mind, a regional seminars on “Recent Trends in Biotechnology” is being organized by Rama Institute of engineering & Technology, Mandhana, Kanpur. The seminar focuses on Biotechnology in medicine, Genetic Engineering & Environment Biotechnology.
