Rama Engineering Colleges offer Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) degrees in 7 Engineering streams through  two institutions namely Rama Institute of Engineering and Technology & Rama Institute of Technology, at Mandhana Campus in Kanpur. 

Rama Engineering Colleges offer a total of 810 seats. All our colleges and courses are duly approved by AICTE and affiliated to Gautam Buddh Technical University (GBTU) (Formerly Uttar Pradesh Technical University).

All courses of Rama Engineering Colleges are AICTE approved and Affiliated to Gautam Buddh Technical University (formerly UPTU) and Mahamaya Technical University. Thus the degree awarded by Rama Group is government approved Bachelors in Technology.
There are total 7 engineering disciplines available in the 2 separate Engineering Institutions. The disciplines available in each college are:

All courses of Rama Engineering Colleges are AICTEapproved and affiliated to Gautam Buddh Technical University (formerly UPTU).

Thus the duration of the Bachelors in Technology Course is 4 years.

The 4 years duration of study is as per AICTE norms divided into 8 semesters with 2 semesters each forming one academic year. 

Students are awarded the degree only when they have successfully completed all the AICTE stipulated courses for their chosen disciplines

Students applying to Rama Group have to comply with AICTE approved eligibility criteria for direct admission:

• Student should have successfully completed Intermediate (10+2) or equivalent from any recognized University/ Board at the time of admission. 
• Student should have had Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry as their main subjects in intermediate (10+2)
• Students should have secured minimum 50% marks collectively in Physics, Mathematics/Biology and Chemistry for Gen and OBC and 45% for SC/ST.

Lateral Entry Option: 

Direct Admission to Bachelors of Technology through lateral entry (2nd Year Admission) is also possible. At the time of admission, the student should have successfully completed either Diploma in Engineering from an AICTE recognised college or should have completed Bachelors of Science (B.Sc. Mathematics) from a government recognised institute.

• Self attested copies of all mark sheets/certificates -1 each
• Passport size photos -10

Method 2:  You can also visit the campus and directly apply by just buying the prospectus and the form for a nominal fee and once you have submitted the application form along with the required documents. 

Successful students shall be informed within 7 days from the date of application.

B.Tech: 810 students are admitted annually.  

(i) Selected candidates are required to deposit fees in person as early as possible after the announcement of selection and in any case before the notified date for the purpose, failing which admission will lapse automatically without any further notification and the seat shall be offered to next on waiting list

(ii) Selected candidates will be required to undergo medical examination by the medical officers appointed for the purpose. Candidates found medically unfit will not be admitted.
